Huvudskär - 58°57.946'N 18°34.318'E

Huvudskär means the "the rocks of the head", being the first group of small islands that one founds when coming from the south. Lots of spot on the roks, and well protected from southern winds. Can be uncomfortable with north-west winds.

Huvudskär is a very nice island worth visiting. The west part of the island is privately owned. More information available at the Archipelago Foundation.

At night, the lighthouse provides a good guide, even though there are lots of rocks all around Huvudskär.
